What Is Empowerment?
It is the authority or power given to someone to do something. It refers to to freedom and power to control life,to recognize and claim rights, to have the autonomy to take own decisions.

Who are Women?
Women are that form of Strength who comes in various ways in everyday life like as a Mother,as a Daughter,as a Sister,as a Wife etc.From the beginning they work as a hard as the men or even harder and according to me they are responsible for the balance in every day life.
There's even a saying about the world Female(FE means Iron,Male means Man,together "IRON MAN").So the word itself represents strength as we can see Female=Iron-Man.
Evils of the society
Previously, lots of bad practices were done in many parts of the world against the women so that the men could completely dominate them. They were never given equal opportunities to prove themselves and kind of forced to stay back home and do all the household work.Their limits and boundaries were within their houses and they were not even allowed to go out or to meet other people.
They didn't have the right to study or the right to have their father's property.To their parents the most important achievement was to get their daughter married at a very early stage so that they can be free from the burden.
At that time,it was unimaginable that girls would go out to work and earn money and if any girl crossed the age of fifteen,people used to talk behind that girl and kind of forced the girls family to get their daughter married.The men on those times used to have more than one wife and that was a sign of that person's manliness.
They were married to a lots older guy and naturally when the husband died,Sati was practiced.Girls were only seen as a tool to give birth to children and look after them when the girl herself was in her childhood.As the husband was lots older so naturally they did not live long after their marriage and the girl was held responsible for her husband's death and were treated very badly.Lots of restrictions were imposed on their clothing,fooding etc.
In some places girl child was even killed which was the worst part and couples in hope of boy child use to give birth to a lot of children and the girls were either killed or got married without their concern so that the focus could totally be on the boy child as because men were only thought to be capable of earning money and taking the responsibility of the family.Parents thought the it would be a complete waste of time,money and effort to concentrate on girl child as according to them they will ultimately get married and won't be able to do anything for the family later.
In front of them,their parents gave the opportunity to the boy child to study and make their future and at the same time girls were taught to cook,wash clothes etc.if by mistake any girl child use to show interest in studies bad rumors used to spread against them in the society and even if few parents stood for their girl child,they were suppressed by the society.

WOMEN NOWADAYS
Time went by,Globalization took place,technological innovations were done and the backwardness of the women were focused on and are given priority.
Now when we look around,everywhere we see women excelling in every field.Talking about sports,education etc we see number of women taking part is increasing and not only that they are giving a huge competition to men.
Now,when couples are having a girl child they are very proud of it.They give them lots of love and care and raise them in such a way so that they can have a bright future.
Women are going out for their jobs,holding important posts in well reputed companies,earning lot of money or are taking the responsibility of the family business or are getting trained for any sport they want and are participating in events like 'Olympics'.
Today they don't need to seek permission from the society,parents are encouraging them to select whichever career paths they want,they are getting married to the person of their choice and people give respect to their feelings and emotions.
Nowadays when a woman takes a stand,society looks at her very proudly and they give examples to their children about being successful like them.
Women nowadays can be as social as they want,they are active on social media,they have friends and nobody can question them about their personal life. Everywhere,on each and every platform it is repeatedly said to empower women and give them all the rights and powers that they deserve and it is promoted on a heavy basis.
Women can dress up in the way they want although few people still raises question on their clothing but according to me this mentality will also be corrected.
Today in major fields like Medical,Management,Army etc women are actively taking part.They are getting admissions in major institutes and making history.Today no-one differentiates between a man and a woman and whatever a man does a woman is doing it it will equal efficiency and effectiveness or even in a better way.
There was a time when women are not allowed to go out of their houses and no is the time when women are going to foreign countries either for Higher Studies or for job and their parents feel so proud about it.Women can study or work as much as they want and with equal efficiency they are coming back home and fulfilling their roles and responsibilities as a daughter or a mother.They are going ahead in their career and at the same time raising their children with due care and looking after their family,they are multi-taskers.
Children,especially must understand that if they really love their mothers they must take a stand for them as there are tonnes of cases where mothers have sacrificed their entire career to raise their children in a proper way and to help them have a bright future.They might have even left their hard earned jobs when people are dying to get jobs.So once children grow up into matured adults they must do something to make their mothers feel proud of their sacrifice.

Emerging Problems in the Society
When everything is going on so well,we all know that everything has it's positive as well as negative sides.Women nowadays are facing different kinds of problems like harassment at work place,various problems while returning home from work late at night,blackmails etc.
Sometimes women need a job desperately to support their family but few people take might take advantage of it and harass them,they feel so lonely that sometimes they don't raise their voices in the fear of losing their jobs,their self-respect in the society or thinking about what their family will say.
Not only in professional level even in career-seeking phases might be in any kind of institutes,they might get harassed but not want to raise their voices because they think that it might make a black spot on their resume.
Sometimes even biasness takes place and women might be differentiated on the basis of caste colour,creed,religion etc.Based on their appearance,they might be given promotions or other benefits and two women suppose in the same post in the same organisation might not get equality.We must understand that being a woman is a beautiful thing and it takes a lot of courage to do work and manage home at the same time and therefore we must support them in all possible ways instead of demoralizing them and reducing their morale,motivation,effectivity and efficiency.
But even that problem is on the way to be solved. We see lot of movies,shows etc were women empowerment is highlighted and they are provided lots of confidence and there are lots of real life cases where we have seen women fighting back against all odds and have set example not only for their family but also for the nation as well.
We have even heard the proverb that "Behind every successful man,there is a woman" and it's our duty towards them so that even they can get the belief and they can proudly say that "Behind every successful woman,there can be a man".
Therefore people must understand that women are a true form of strength and they are warriors as because even after so many problems from the beginning,they didn't lose their ground and kept fighting and if they lose their patience it may bring catastrophe on the world.They are real life superheroes who are trying to prove a point and also are very protective and dangerous if any kind of problem occurs on their family.So instead of suppressing this power we must become a part of it and make the world a better place.
