Managing Stress

Alzheimer Vs Anxiety Vs Depression Vs Multiple Personality Disorder
Mental disorders may share molecular origins | National Institutes ...

Now in this post I would like to talk on a very important topic and would like to start with the term 'stress'. What is stress? Is it good or bad? Is this a disease? Is it common? According to me each and every person in this world suffers from stress. Stress can be of different kinds for example, work-life stress, family-life stress etc. In such a competitive world where all tries to go ahead of another by hook or crook and everyone wants to achieve something, we don't get time to spend with our loved ones and we don't even know when the love turns into hatred. We don't understand the values of what we already have and try to achieve what we don't have and in that process we lose the most precious people and time of our lives. Just to earn a living, people are working 12 hours, 15 hours or even 18 hours.

We even forget our talents and hobbies and this way we are actually killing the artist inside us who might once tried to come out and show it's talent in this world and lucky are those who get a chance to showcase their talents and make it a profession. In many places earning money is the only importance, to those creativity, art etc. these things hardly matter. Parents nowadays like to see their children studying rather than seeing them painting, singing or dancing.

Now Human Beings are social animals and actually can we change this. By force we try to concentrate on our work the whole day but from inside we have a strong urge to spend some quality time with our loved ones. But the harsh reality is if anyone doesn't have money then he or she has hardly any value and automatically they will lose their loved ones. Now only those have value who have a good career and profession and which is fetching him/her enough money to have a good and lavish life.

Now in this entire process of being settled in life, while growing up from a innocent child to a grown up adult we face lot of difficulties. We see ourselves going through a lot of changes, we see people around us coming and going, changing themselves, being jealous of seeing our success, losing our loved ones, facing two-faced people who in front of us are smiling but once we turn back, abusing us by any means possible. We might see our loved-ones dying because of accidents or diseases or friends turning into enemies. Now these things leaves a mark on our mind and we might forget these memories but deep inside in stays in our sub-conscious mind.
Mental Illness Types, Symptoms, and Diagnosis

Now, we might face different issues and those issues might affect different people in a different way as people belong from various backgrounds, class, society etc. Different people react to situations in a different way. Now, we might face problems if we get low marks in our exams, we might have an argument with some even when we don't have an fault, we might get into fights and quarrels, we might get low in our career etc. Now if the person belongs from a poor family he/she will get a solid scolding and the entire fault will be on their shoulder and they may be forced to apologize even when they are right as by any means they have to earn money to support their family and if the person belongs from a well to do family he/she might get the support to fight back. In some cases we see a person working hard to make his own image but belongs from a rich family and even after proving himself or herself he or she might get a feedback that whatever they have done it's because of their father's money.

Unfortunately, every human being has only one brain which has to account for all these stuffs. Now, every human being are not fighters. We have tons of cases where a poor guy or an uneducated guy after struggling a lot becomes a successful person. But on the other hand we also have cases where people commit suicides, murders just to escape their problems. We see children under tremendous pressure just because his/her friend might have got a few numbers more than him/her and parents furious on him/her although it's their time to play and enjoy life. Sometimes parents forget that it's their children, not an ego-satisfying machine.
My Anxiety Disorder Is Only A Part of Me; It Doesn't Define Who I Am
What is Alzheimer?
A progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions.
Now we all are aging and slowly we lose our physical abilities and previously what we used to keep in our mind for a long time tends to seem very difficult.
Sometimes we try to remember so many important things altogether, but no matter how hard we try, family and work matters altogether amalgamates and finally we forget many important things which might have been very important to us and just because we forget we might have to face lots of problems.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

What is frustration?
Sometimes in our daily life no matter how hard we try to do something we fail or for a long period of time we are trying to get something but again we be unsuccessful. These frustrations make us mad and desperate and sometimes we lose everything just to satisfy our frustrations. Now this thing has to be solved from the beginning i.e. from our childhood, few parents either totally ignore or as soon as their child wants something they give it to him/her. Now the demands increase as they grow up and it is not always possible to satisfy their demands and thus they become frustrated and therefore try to do something wrong to fulfil it on their own as they have a habit of getting them fulfilled and if parents ignore it in the beginning they might not even know when their child's mental health could get affected due to this.

What is anxiety?
Intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situation. Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating and feeling tired may occur. Anxiety can be normal in stressful situation such as public speaking or taking test.
Now is this normal? Is it good for our health? All of a sudden increased heart rate and after a few moments again coming back to normal, is it fine? Why can't we take our work lightly and why can't we enjoy our work? Is taking pressure and taking too much workload is absolutely necessary? Don't we need to spend time with our family?

What is ego?
Ego is a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance, the part of mind that meditates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity. Now, sometimes satisfying our ego becomes very difficult and in if we be unable to satisfy it we feel like we have committed the biggest mistake of our life and we just can't accept it simply. I think it's based on how we grow up, what values are given to us and how we see the world around us. Sometimes we get prepared to go to any extent just to satisfy our ego and from our childhood we have grown up being very competitive and therefore even for once we see someone performing better than us it hurts us a lot and therefore we try to do something which is out of our limit and no matter what price we have to pay for it.

Why do we need anger management classes?
Anger is something which forces us to do something which we normally wouldn't have done and whatever we do out of anger, it is basically very ugly. In anger we fight with people, we hit them, have quarrels, use slang languages and even bring each other's family in between. Now, is it healthy? Will it make our relationships stronger? Will it create a good image of us? Will it help us to gather more friends? Will our loved ones love us anymore after these kind of fights?
Therefore, out of these we go to anger management classes to control our anger and be socially accepted in the society.

What is depression?
Depression is something which disturbs us from inside and which people sometimes feel ashamed to express in front of people. It might be from the beginning or might develop all of a sudden due to tremendous outside pressure. That person might be smiling and laughing in front of people but from inside they might be under pressure. If they get proper treatment in time they might get cured otherwise in extreme cases just to reduce their pain they might even kill themselves.

What is Multiple-Personality-Disorder?
We nowadays are actually not we are from inside. We might be a very jolly and happy person but due to work pressures we might not enough opportunity to enjoy life and have fun with people and therefore that personality gets stomped inside and by force we have to develop a new personality and due to the combination of these two personality people in the society might think us weird and therefore just to get accepted in the society to might have to develop another personality and these confusions makes us forget who we actually are.
Is terrorism based on mental illness?

Opinion:We need to talk about mental illness in our industry | Ad Age
Now there are many more disorders like this but according to me the ones mentioned above have direct contact with my topic of discussion. Now these are the elements that makes up a compound. These are directly or indirectly connected with lack of love, connectivity and touch. People suffering from these just need someone trustworthy with whom they can freely discuss their issues with and can feel free without any fear and from they can draw energy and inspiration. We have seen how these disorders can bring harm not only to the sufferer but also to the people around them so it's my earnest request to all to please look after their loved ones and definitely give priority to work and equal importance to family and help and support each other to make the world a better place to live in.
