Godrej Group is an Indian conglomerate company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India managed and largely owned by the Godrej family. It was founded by Adi Godrej and Pirojsha Burjorji Godrej in 1897.
It operates in sectors as diverse as real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, appliances, furniture, security and agricultural products, aerospace, electronics and appliances. The Godrej group can be broadly divided into two major holding companies, working independently:

Godrej Industries has the following divisions:
- Godrej Chemicals- It is one of the oldest businesses of the Godrej Group. Today it is one of India's leading manufacturers of oleochemicals, surfactants, derivates of oleochemicals and specialty chemicals. It manufactures and markets over 100 chemicals for use in ore than 24 applications and products are exported to over 80 countries.
- Godrej Agrovet- It is an Indian animal feed and agribusiness company. The company holds leading market position in poultry processing, animal feed, oil palm plantations and agri inputs.
- Godrej Consumer Products- It is an Indian consumer goods company. It's products include soap, hair colourants, toiletries and liquid detergents.
- Godrej Properties- It is a real estate company established in 1990 under the leadership of Adi Godrej. The company is currently developing projects that are estimated to cover more than 89.7 million square feet. Currently, Godrej Properties Limited is listed on the Bombay Stock exchange and the National Stock Exchange.

Godrej and Boyce- began in 1897 with the manufacture of locks, then extending to other durables like refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioner, home security systems, safes and furniture for institutions, office furniture, audio-visual products, access control systems, perimeter security products, bank security products, bank security products, beverage vending machines, interior products, hospital and laboratory furniture and industrial products like process equipment, materials handling equipment, industrial products like process equipment, materials handling equipment, industrial storage products, tooling precision equipment.
Major Subsidiaries:
- Godrej Infotech Ltd.- is a IT service provider with services that range from Business Process Consulting, Infrastructure management, Implementation and Global Rollout, Application support and maintenance, mobile development and training.
- Godrej Efacec Automation and Robotics Ltd.- It is a 50:50 joint venture set up between Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd and Efacec Automacao e Robotica of Portugal. It is leader in various fields like automation and robotics, energy, engineering, electronic systems, environmental control and information systems.
- Mercury Mfg. Co. Ltd.- It is listed in Trade India's list of verified sellers offering supreme quality of Flipper Door Cabinet etc.
- Veromatic International B.V.- It has developed into an international player in the development and production of high-quality machinery for warm and cold beverages. These machines offer excellent quality to end users in the professional market.
- Godrej (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.- It was established in 1971 and has associate/related companies in Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Sultanate of Oman manufacturing steel office furniture, shelving systems, security equipment, machine tool, forklifts, toiletries cosmetics, oleochemicals and Agrovet products. It has customer like the Government of Singapore and export products to countries like Australia, New Zealand etc.
- Godrej (Vietnam) Co. Ltd.- It is one of the largest Indian Corporations manufacturing and marketing Steel office furniture. It has a dedicated team of engineers to help customize a product range which will fit special product markets.
- Godrej & Khimji (Middle East) LLC.- It is a joint venture company between the Godrej Group from India and the Khimji Ramdas Group from the Sultanate of Oman. The company is a manufacturer and exporter of steel, office, domestic and recreational furniture, encompassing filing and storage systems for personal and commercial use.
- Godrej Interio (Godrej & Boyce)- It is India's largest furniture brand in both home and institutional segments. With presence over 430 cities with 52 company owned states and over 800 dealers, they are the largest division of Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.
- Godrej Aerospace (Godrej & Boyce)- It is a Tier-1 manufacturer of precision and Hi-tech Aerospace components, assembles and systems. They have an integrated manufacturing set-up with capabilities in Hi-tech machining, complex fabrication, assembly and testing.

GCPL was ranked number 12 on the 'Great Place to Work – Best Workplaces in Asia 2017' list and among the top 19 Best Employers in India in the 'Aon Hewitt Best Employers 2017' survey. Godrej, whom Forbes in 2017 listed as the sixth-richest Indian with an estimated family wealth of $14.2 billion, joined the family business in 1963, after graduating from MIT Sloan School of Management in the US.

It is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It operates in 34 countries with more than 1,20,000 employees worldwide. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services and telecom. The group had a revenue of approximately Rs.3,42,930 crore in year 2019.
It's products are agribusiness, carbon black, cement, chemicals, finance, mining, metals, retail, pulp & fibre, telecommunications, textile and wind power. Their subsidiaries are:
- Ultra Tech Cement- is an Indian cement company based in Mumbai. It is the largest manufacturer of grey cement, ready mix concrete (RMC) and white cement in India with an installed capacity of 116.75 million tonnes per annum, and is the only company in the world to have a capacity of over 100 million tonnes in a single country, outside of China.

- Vodafone Idea- is a pan-Indian integrated GSM operator offering 2G, 3G and 4G, 4G+ and VOLTE.
- Hindalco Industries- is an Indian aluminum and copper manufacturing company, is a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group. Its headquarters are at Mumbai. It is the flagship company in the metals business.
- Pantaloons Fashion & Retail- is an Indian clothing retail chain. It was taken over by Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited headquartered in Kurla, Mumbai. Pantaloons featured among 100 most trusted brands in India.
The Aditya Birla Group is the world's largest producer of Viscose stale fibre. It operates from India, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and China. It owns the Birla Cellulose brand. Apart from viscose staple fibre, the group also owns acrylic fibre business in Thailand, viscose filament yarn businesses and spinning mills in India and South East Asia. The group has pulp and plantation interests in Canada and Laos. It also owns the Domsjo factory in Sweden which exports viscose today. The Swedish Government is hoping to negotiate further investments in Sweden, particular in the hyper-modern future biorefinery in the city of Ornskoldvik. Its two companies i.e. Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd. and Grasim Bhiwani Textiles Ltd which is a subsidiary of Grasim Industries are in textile business. Idea Cellular was started as a joint venture of Aditya Birla Group with AT&T and the Tata Group, which was widely also known as, BATATA (Birla+AT+Tata). After an IPO on the Indian stock markets, Idea Cellular now accounts for a third of the group's market capitalisation. The company is headquartered in Mumbai. On 31 August 2018 idea cellular completed its merger with Vodafone India and thereby became largest telecom company in terms of subscribers and revenue, surpassing Airtel.

I wish I could rejoin the company. It was fantastic experience and learned a lot there. The management was good and supportive. I enjoyed my tenure in the company.
Here, I got the opportunities to learn and earn. My seniors were very helpful and supportive. They always motivated me to groom and grow myself well. They always helped me to keep myself updated on the market perspective. The internal meetings and training sessions were also very well designed and educative.
